Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are available at the door or you can pre-buy by emailing info@tchen.org, or purchasing on this website.

How much is admission?

Pre-purchase ticket prices are $25.00.
Tickets at the door are $35.00.

Will there be child care/a children's convention?

TCHEN is a family-friendly convention and welcomes families to bring their children and grandparents (both included with the price of admission). However keeping with family integration we do not provide childcare or a children's convention. We do provide coloring books and crayons at the back of each workshop. We also encourage families to bring lap-activities for younger children that might not be engaged in the workshop. Suggestions include lap books, busy-bags, coloring items, wooden hand toys, etc. We do ask that you please make certain these forms of entertainment will not disrupt other attendees (noisy electronics, etc).

Are Pastors and their families free?

TCHEN would like to invite full time Senior Pastors and their families to attend for free so that they may relate to homeschooling families within their congregations.
Please invite your Pastors.

When is the cut off date for the $25 pre registration price?

The cut off date is one month prior to the convention.
This year's convention is May 16th, so the cut off date is April 30th.

What does admission include?

Admission for parents, children, and grandparents to all sessions, workshops and the vendor hall.

When will the Schedule of Workshops be available?

We will post the schedule as soon as we have it available. A rough draft is usually available a month before the convention. A final copy is emailed to registered attendees a week before the convention. A hard copy is handed out to all attendees. Of course TCHEN reserves the right to make any necessary changes.

What forms of payment does TCHEN accept? What about vendors?

TCHEN only accepts checks (made out to TCHEN) or cash at the door. Some vendors may accept major credit cards, most will accept checks and/or cash.

Does the ticket include all of the speakers?

Yes, it includes all speakers, sessions and workshops.

What is the cost to exhibit at TCHEN? Is there space available? What about Support Groups?

The cost for our Exhibitor Booths begin at $100. Unfortunately our space is extremely limited this year and is already completely full. We do offer a Support Group Table where local support groups can place a flier with their meeting information free of charge. Our requirements are that they agree with our Statement of Faith and Position on Home Education and each only place one flier. Again, this is for Homeschool Support Groups (or PSP, or Co-op Groups). There is a used curriculum sale coming up in the Santa Rosa area on July 11th (normally held in August). Tables there are $9.
